Based in Vancouver, BC, Brian Evoy holds two social work degrees, and a Ph.D. focused on population health and ethical decision-making. He has published and presented internationally on stakeholder engagement in health system transformation. Clinically, Brian has worked in adolescent in-patient and out-patient psychiatry, performed street outreach work, and practiced out-patient adult addictions counselling. In partnership with the British Columbia Ministry of Health, Doctors of BC, and BC health authorities, Brian lead a process that helped 4000 Family Physicians reorganize their collective population health improvement efforts by incorporating 32 Divisions of Family Practices in British Columbia. He is currently the Executive Director of the BC Pediatric Society. Brian has provided event facilitation, strategic planning and organizational development services for over 25 years.
